Chief Executive Officer

Jon Carpenter is a media & technology industry veteran with strong operational focus, strategic acumen, and experience driving both growth and profitability.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Carpenter served as Comscore's chief financial officer since 2021. Before joining the company, he served as CFO at Publishers Clearing House since 2016, where he has partnered to transform and grow the digital business both organically and through M&A. Prior to that, he served in various senior divisional CFO roles for Nielsen, Sears Holdings and NBC Universal. Jon started his career with General Electric in their Financial Management Program.

Jon has a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two young children.

Chief Innovation Officer

David Algranati, Ph.D., is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of product innovation, market research and analytics. 

In his role as Chief Innovation Officer, Dr. Algranati leads an organization driven to helping clients meet their business goals by creating industry-leading media measurements solutions. 

“Comscore has a unique ability to process and understand large amounts of data,” he says. “My team strives to use this wealth of information to design products and services that meet the needs of the industry.”   

Before joining the Comscore team, he served as SVP, Television Product Innovation & Custom Research at Rentrak and held executive research positions at Experian Simmons including Director of Integrated Marketing Solutions. While at Simmons, he also led the statistics and research teams, overseeing all statistical responsibilities for the company including custom research projects. 

Dr. Algranati holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in Statistics, a Master of Philosophy in Public Policy and a Ph.D. in Statistics and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. 

When he is not working on the next generation of media measurement solutions, he is a devoted boxing fan, attending more than 2,000 boxing matches in the past 20 years.

Steve Bagdasarian is Comscore’s Chief Commercial Officer and a seasoned digital technology executive.

Focused on delivering growth above target in high-velocity, high-growth environments, Steve joined Comscore in 2022. Over 15+ years his roles have spanned operations, strategy, business development, product and marketing analytics.

Mary Margaret Curry

Chief Financial Officer

Mary Margaret joined Comscore in 2011 as global tax director and has since served in roles of increasing scope and responsibility, including as senior director of global tax compliance and reporting; vice president of tax and treasury; and senior vice president and controller. Before joining the company, Ms. Curry served as senior manager at KPMG, where she began her career nine years prior.
Greg Dale

Chief Operating Officer

Greg Dale is an accomplished executive with a wide breadth of functional expertise, and a proven track record of driving innovation and growth at data and analytics businesses.

Greg was part of the Comscore team from 1999 to 2016, and rejoined Comscore through the 2021 acquisition of the social media measurement company, Shareablee, where he also served as Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to Shareablee, Greg served as COO for Persado (an AI Based Marketing Content Platform), he focused on enabling scale by driving a product migration from manual operations requiring a full-service model to a client facing portal. He also developed a learning culture at Persado to foster internal product knowledge as well as understanding the ecosystem it operates in which is key to AI based product adoption.

Greg was a founding member of Comscore where he played a critical role in the creation of their core syndicated products and led them through their high growth period as they scaled from startup through their IPO. Throughout his career at Comscore, spanning 3 to 1,000+ employees, Greg created a culture of innovation producing industry-first products and services in multiple areas such as search, video, advertising, and mobile measurement.

Greg began his history of working with data and analytic firms at Information Resources, Inc., one of the early pioneers in using big data to drive CPG research and analytics. He is a graduate of Purdue University.

Sara Dunn

Sara Dunn

Chief People Officer

Sara is an experienced HR leader who brings trust, accountability and grit to the heart of Comscore. With more than 20 years of human resource experience, she is known for building highly engaged, high performing cultures through seasons of rapid change.

As Chief People Officer at Comscore, Sara leads global HR strategies, programs, and practices, overseeing the teams responsible for talent management and acquisition, learning and development, organizational design and effectiveness, and compensation and benefits.

Since joining Comscore in 2011, Sara has played a critical role in anchoring people around growth in complex, innovative, and high-velocity environments. Sara’s impact has been felt widely across the organization. She is recognized as a trusted business partner with a knack for driving focus on leadership strength, talent development, improving system and operational capabilities, and culture.

Prior to joining Comscore in 2010, Sara amassed broad HR expertise across a diverse set of industries, including at AOL, ExxonMobil, and Federated Department Stores. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Carol Hinnant

EVP and Executive Advisor for Currency Strategy & Initiatives

Carol Hinnant is a seasoned media industry professional with 30 years of expertise. Ms. Hinnant draws upon a wealth of knowledge in the fields of strategic business development, sales and planning within the media and entertainment sectors in her role at Comscore.

Ms. Hinnant previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President, National Television Sales, managing the sales and account management team and working face-to-face with Comscore’s network clients developing new, innovative approaches to industry challenges using Comscore’s granular television and digital measurement insights and driving cross-platform solutions.

Ms. Hinnant also served as Senior Vice President, National Television Sales at Rentrak since 2006 and spent 16 years growing multi-platform distribution channels for cable network giants and emerging niche networks. She entered the media industry via HBO’s legal department and credits the vast experiences she gained through her industry employment as the basis for her success at Comscore. 

Ms. Hinnant was named a Woman to Watch in the cable industry by Multichannel News and Women In Cable Television (WICT) and was named a Rainmaker by CTAM in 2008.  

When Ms. Hinnant is not on the road reaching out to network clients and prospects, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, cooking and traveling.  

Brian Pugh

Brian Pugh

Chief Information Officer

Brian Pugh is a seasoned executive with 20 years of experience in media measurement, analytics, innovation, and technology transformation.

Mr. Pugh’s role as Chief Information Officer for Comscore includes oversight of Comscore’s cybersecurity program, IT infrastructure strategy, data governance, and industry audits including the Media Rating Council accreditations of Comscore products.

Prior to his appointment as CIO, Mr. Pugh was the Executive Vice President of Product Technology, where he guided Comscore’s initiatives for technology strategy, cost optimization and data governance. He has also led Comscore’s Analytics department building new media measurement data solutions in audience measurement, campaign validation, and Activation products. He spearheaded the development of methods to combine traditional panel measurement with digital census data that resulted in Comscore’s next-generation media measurement capabilities.

Mr. Pugh holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from George Mason University, and lives in Virginia with his wife, three children and two rescue dogs. When he is not transforming Comscore’s systems for the future, he can be found outside biking, hiking, or playing tennis.
