comScore Announces Official Worldwide Box Office Results for Weekend of August 20, 2017

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- comScore today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of August 20, 2017, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Warner Bros.' horror spinoff sequel 'Annabelle: Creation' takes over the top spot scaring up a $57.5 million global haul while China-based title 'Wolf Warrior 2' continues to generate huge numbers and now stands at $774.3 million worldwide and counting.  Notably, 'Paradox,' a Hong Kong-Chinese action film directed by Wilson Yip, with action direction by Sammo Hung had a stellar weekend bringing in $31 million and $40.5 million to date."
