Chief Executive Officer
Bryan Wiener is a 25-year advertising industry veteran who specializes in successfully growing companies in highly-disruptive environments.
Before joining comScore as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Wiener served first as CEO and later as executive chairman of 360i, where he pioneered a new kind of agency designed to help brands capitalize on change, leveraging deep expertise in data, technology and innovation to drive measurable impact across all media platforms. While there, Mr. Wiener scaled the company from fewer than 40 to more than 1,000 employees worldwide, and partnered with some of the largest and most iconic brands in the world including Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mondelēz, Capital One, NBCUniversal and Pernod-Ricard at a critical moment when marketers were grappling to effectively reach their customers. In 2010, 360i’s position as a leader in the new media landscape led the company to be acquired by global advertising holding company Dentsu Inc. After almost a decade as CEO, Mr. Wiener became executive chairman of 360i in 2014.
From 2014 through 2015, Mr. Wiener concurrently served as chairman of Expion, a social content marketing software company that was successfully acquired by Sysomos. Mr. Wiener also previously held a series of senior management positions at public companies including serving as president of global services at the early VoIP software company Net2Phone, where he led a two-year, $75 million EBITDA turn-around. Prior to Net2Phone, Mr. Wiener served as general manager at TheGlobe.com, one the first-ever social media companies.
Mr. Wiener currently serves on the Agency Advisory Board for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he was inducted into the world-renowned media and communications school’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Wiener has been named a "Media Maven" by Advertising Age and to the "Mediaweek 50 List" (now part of Adweek).
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Fink is an accomplished senior finance executive with more than 25 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, business analytics, budgeting, internal controls, and talent development. Prior to joining comScore on October 3, 2017, he served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Fannie Mae, where he led a team of 600 professionals and oversaw a multi-billion dollar annual expense budget. With extensive experience in SEC reporting, Mr. Fink had responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and Audit Committee reporting. Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 2006, he served as Vice President of Financial Reporting and Policy at MCI, Inc. and was a Senior Manager at Deloitte.
Mr. Fink holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from San Diego State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.
General Counsel & Chief Compliance, Privacy and People Officer
Carol DiBattiste is General Counsel & Chief Privacy and People Officer at comScore. Ms. DiBattiste brings extensive legal, privacy, compliance and human resources leadership experience from both the public and private sectors to the company.
She advises the company on all legal matters, including strategic corporate initiatives, technology alliances, business transactions and intellectual property protection, litigation, and also oversees the company’s human resources and facilities departments. As Chief Privacy Officer, Ms. DiBattiste is responsible for establishing the company's privacy and data security policies, overseeing the implementation of such policies, and educating legislators, the press, industry and consumer groups and the general public about the company's approach and commitments to consumer privacy.
Prior to joining comScore, she served as the Executive in Charge and Vice Chairman of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Ms. DiBattiste’s public sector work also included senior executive positions in the Departments of Defense, Justice and Homeland Security. Among her many distinguished roles, she served as the Under Secretary of the United States Air Force, Department of Defense, confirmed by the U.S. Senate, where she led a $70 billion, 710,000 military and civilian department responsible for recruiting, training and education, and readiness, and earlier as Principal Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Navy. She was also the Deputy Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security, where she led a $5.3 billion, 55,000-employee agency. Ms. DiBattiste also served as a federal prosecutor and Deputy United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida and as the Director of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, where she led the operations of the 94 United States Attorneys’ Offices nationwide.
In the private sector, Ms. DiBattiste served as Chief Privacy Officer at ChoicePoint, where she also served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. ChoicePoint was acquired by Reed Elsevier/LexisNexis during her tenure. At LexisNexis/Reed Elsevier, she served as Senior Vice President, Privacy and Security. She has also served as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer at Geeknet, Inc., and Chief Legal, Privacy and Administrative Officer at Education Management Corporation. Previously, Ms. DiBattiste was a partner in the international law firm of Holland & Knight, where her specialties included government relations, corporate diversity counseling, and civil and criminal litigation.
Ms. DiBattiste graduated with a B.A. from LaSalle University and holds a J.D. from Temple University School of Law and an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law. In addition, she has completed the Strategic Leadership Program at Harvard Business School and served in the U.S. Air Force as an officer and judge advocate (JAG).
Chief Revenue Officer
Chris Wilson has built a reputation in the research industry as a visionary by working daily to create the television measurement products of the future.
In his role as Chief Revenue Officer at comScore, he says his mission is to further the development of new products and services to measure TV across every platform and to better integrate our digital, TV and cross-platform sales efforts through consistent best practices across comScore's commercial teams.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has played a critical role in the growth and evolution of TV measurement. Prior to his role at comScore, he served as Executive Vice President, National Television Products at both comScore and Rentrak; Senior Vice President, Sales at Scarborough Research Company; President at Experian Research Services; President & COO of Simmons Market Research Bureau; and CEO & President of LogicLab, a division of Merkle LLC.
When he’s not working to build and maintain key strategic relationships with national advertisers, agencies and TV networks, Mr. Wilson enjoys playing golf and scuba diving. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, three kids, a dog and a horse.
Chief Product Officer
Dan Hess has worked at the intersection of digital technology and data-driven marketing and sales throughout his career. In his role as Chief Product Officer, Mr. Hess leads an organization driven to delight comScore clients by creating industry-leading solutions that deliver on our cross-platform vision.
Mr. Hess previously served as comScore’s Executive Vice President, Products from September 2016 to December 2017. Prior to joining comScore, Mr. Hess served as an investor and advisor to start-ups in digital media and marketing, software-as-a-service and e-commerce. Previously, Mr. Hess served as Chief Corporate Development Officer and of Rewards Network, a loyalty marketing and financial services company. Prior to that, Mr. Hess was CEO and Co-Founder of Local Offer Network, which created an omnichannel predictive modeling and personalization platform that was acquired by one of the world's leading marketing services firms.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hess was one of comScore’s first employees, leading corporate marketing and building multiple commercial teams including its retail, travel, automotive and technology products and practices.
When Mr. Hess isn't relentlessly focusing on innovation, quality, execution and efficiency at comScore, he enjoys spending time with family and supporting animal rescue organizations.
Chief Information and Technology Officer
Joe Rostock is a proven and passionate leader in the delivery of innovative technologies that drive value. His deep, cross-industry experience extends more than 30 years, ranging from executive roles within the world’s second largest telecommunications company to the launch of a start-up business aimed to radically improve how data is secured, integrated and managed.
In his role as Chief Information and Technology Officer, Mr. Rostock is responsible for the design, development and operational delivery of solutions across comScore’s business to advance innovation while driving growth and efficiencies.
Prior to joining the comScore team, Mr. Rostock served as Chief Technology Officer at healthcare technology company, Inovalon, where he led the design and delivery of an award-winning, real-time analytics platform. Mr. Rostock also served as Vice President and Chief Technologist for The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS), a technology and solutions development organization for the telecommunication industry. While at ATIS, he led strategic initiatives, designed and developed solutions, as well as competitive business models for communications and infrastructure providers. Preceding his position at ATIS, Mr. Rostock served in many ascending roles at Verizon Communications, most recently serving as Senior Fellow where he was responsible for strategy and planning programs supporting the CIOs of Verizon’s five business units to structure the company’s future direction in cloud technology offerings, virtualization initiatives, development of mobility platforms and business management analytics. During the launch of his career, Mr. Rostock held several technical staff positions, in which he spearheaded deployment of Verizon’s first voice over IP network, enabling IP carrier termination service from Europe into New York City.
Mr. Rostock was awarded a US Patent for Access to Intelligent Network Service Control and holds a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Film from Temple University, as well as completing graduate studies in Computer Science at St. Joseph's University.
