comScore Announces Official Worldwide Box Office Results for Weekend of July 24, 2016

LOS ANGELES, July 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of July 24, 2016, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Paramount's 'Star Trek Beyond' leads the global box office this weekend as it boldly earns $30.0 million in 37 international territories plus $59.6 million in North America for a total of $89.6 million.  Notably, China title 'Skiptrace' earns $44 million this weekend for a global total to date of $58.5 million."
